Great video! I was having trouble getting logged into my blog under my admin username, I can log in now but it seems that the admin rights no longer exist. Do you have any idea how to fix it? In my phpMyAdmin there is only one username, whereas I know that there were previously three.

This was so easy to follow, and the phpMyAdmin section was especially helpful. AND YET IT DIDN’T WORK FOR ME. I’ve tried resetting my password through all the WordPress and phpmyadmin routes before, and it never works. Is there something that I might have done to keep my database from recognizing a new passsword?

@Carol Jones: Are you sure your usename isn’t admin? If you installed through the WP interface, that is usually what it is. Regardless, if you follow the directions in this video to reset your password, then you will see your username in the db table.

Thank you so much. I have been going in circles for more hours than I would like to admit. Old website http://www.toysonwheels.com is the one I was trying to get into. Have had much mix up since I added a second website to my account and nothing has worked right since.
    Thank you again
