I'm installing a new version of wordpress 2.8.2 to a brand new domanin. I installed using cpanel and have done this several times with no problems. I am getting a 500 internal server error and can't figure out for the life of me why. I've done everything the same as I did when I recently installed on my other add on domains. I even deleted 2.8.2 and tried installing 2.8.1 to see if the issue was the new version, but to no avail. Any clues or suggestions out there? Hi. If you don't backup and run into problems, then you may wish you had. 2. I'm not sure what you mean by "extra safe", but if you have 2.7 then you can backup from the WP admin.
